In light of all the recent problems regarding writers grabbing loads of forum work and then not making any posts for weeks on end, with the end result being orders going past deadlines, we have had to look at ways to prevent this problem continuing, and so as of today any writers who grab forum work and don't update their job status at least once a week will now run the risk of having work removed from their job account, at a rate of 5 posts each time. Obviously on orders with short deadlines this time scale will be shorter, days rather than a week.
This should help to ensure that orders are completed on time and also that writers don't grab the maximum amount of work possible, only to "sit on it" while other writers twiddle their thumbs waiting for work to come up.
So the moral of this is, If you take work on only take what you know you can complete quickly, if you take 5 posts and 1 thread and complete in a day you can always go back and grab more afterwards.
Unfortunately at the moment the system decides how many posts/threads each writer can take, otherwise we would restrict the qty's to 10 posts and 2 threads per forum at a time, thus allowing more writers to grab jobs for new forums and sharing the work out better.

| That sounds like a very wise and fair way to do things. | |

| thats pretty fine. i guess in the beginning when there were few writers, thats how all writers used to take assignments just to make themselves aware of the forum before moving ahead. | |

| I grabbed 45 posts and 9 threads to be done in 2 months - is that too much? I know I can complete it easily. Did I do anything wrong? | |

| I agree this sounds like a great new rule. I think it would be even better if writers could only take 10 posts and 1 thread at a time and then once thats completed they can grab another 10 posts and 1 thread and so on... | |
