Privacy Statement

We personally believe that everyone should know the exact information that we keep on you. After all, it's your information, not ours. We have created this page to make everyone aware of this - the reasons why we store them and what we do with them.

Stored Information

We only store a minimal amount of data on any user. The majority of this information has been supplied to us by you. The personal details that our stored are as follows:

• First name and surname;
• E-mail address;
• Password (Securely hashed).

The only item that is stored involuntarily is your IP address. Your IP address is only ever stored when you have registered with Wired Flame. The reason we log your IP address is for security purposes only. Our system can automatically deduce if somebody has been accessing your account without your permission. We can then act accordingly based on your response after notifying you.

Any data that is stored will not be used on any other site related or unrelated to Wired Flame. Your e-mail address, name, username and/or password will not be passed, sold or in any other way transferred to a third party. Your password is also stored as a secure hash algorithm with a random string attached to it so that reverse techniques, such as reverse-lookup, would be fruitless.

Cookies

We use and store a maximum of 2 cookies. These cookies are to provide you with a much better user-friendly experience. These are as follows:

PHP Session ID cookie

This cookie stores your session ID which will match a session ID stored on the Wired Flame system. This is the cookie that allows you to remain logged in and therefore you do not have to login for each individual page that you visit. This data stores nothing more than a 32 bit string.

Forum Posts cookie

This cookie stores information based on the posts and threads you have read in our forum. This data is stored as an array in the cookie and contains only the thread's identification and the amount of threads that were seen the last time you visited. If this value is a mismatch to the one stored in the forums when you visit, then the thread will become bold - indicative that there have been new posts.
